Why Donate to A Place Apart? A Place Apart is a faithful steward of your contributions. None of our staff are paid. We provide housing for our young adult staff. We try to cover travel expenses for staff. A Place Apart receives the largest portion of its contributions from individuals like you. In recent years, more than 96% of all income comes from individual donations. A Place Apart spends your contributions effectively. Retreats are hosted at cost, guest rooms are made available by donation, and administrative costs are kept to a minimum. Our responsibility in caring for the two properties, plus ongoing programs, has introduced a new financial burden. Your support through financial contributions is very important to our work.
