A Place Apart Grounds

A Place Apart is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Putney, Vermont.

The village of Putney, Vermont has a long and fascinating history of intentional communities and new religious movements. Putney combines elements of a classic New England village with an unusually high proportion of artists and artisans. The village is "a place apart" in its own right, and therefore it is a natural home for the A Place Apart community.

A Place Apart's grounds are located a 10-minute drive from the center of Putney village (pictured here). The village provides visitors with a general store, food co-op, bookstore, coffeeshop, art galleries, and more.

A Place Apart has full use of two nearly adjacent properties on a gorgeous mountain ridge in Putney, Vermont. These privately-owned grounds are made available to the A Place Apart community and its guests, as a home for A Place Apart.
